An update from the president.

From the President of Rainier Satellite.

Greetings to all.

It’s time I update all with a progress report. Rainier Satellite’s been very busy growing. We attribute this success to our hard work and determination. Were pleased to have added 9 channels in the last month to our subscription platform. These include NESN National, Gone Viral TV, Gone Viral Music, Gone Viral Vogue, Gone Viral Xtreme, CBC, CTV, City TV, and TVO.

Just think because of Rainier’s hard work Boston Red Sox fans can now get to see NESN’s coverage on your big dish once again, gone from c band TV since the year 2000. Catch all the action starting with spring training right around the corner on the 131 satellite in Ultimate HD only from Rainier. You can get NESN in our Blue Package.

That’s not all I have to report. The Gone Viral Networks which have been free on satellite for a while have scrambled lately. Rainier don’t like to see channels go away, this is never a good thing, and was the downfall of our predecessors. So we got them back for all. Now available only from us on the 101 west satellite in both our new Startup pack and Blue package.

But there’s even more. Rainier’s done the impossible. We’ve brought Canadian TV to the USA. Were please to be the exclusive provider in the US for CBC, CTV, City TV and TVO from Toronto. These can be seen on the 101 west satellite. CTV currently found elsewhere for free will be scrambling their distribution feeds this year. This will leave Rainier Satellite the only place you can get these in the US. Like I said before, Rainier Satellite does not like to see channels go away and have already addressed this issue. We’re glad to be able to be offering CTV along with the CBC, City and TVO in our Toronto 4 package. This can be purchased as an ADD-ON service to your Startup or Blue package.

Talking about scrambling and channels going away. Rainier has been busy getting contracts for many of the Diginets that will be scrambling this year. Learning of this going to happen soon Rainier would like to see these networks continue to be available to the c band audience. Once scrambled Rainier will be the only place to get these on C band. Don’t let your dish go dark.

I have even more to report, Rainier will be adding much more content to our lineup very soon. We’re in contract negotiations as I speak with many programmers. As soon as we reach a deal Rainier posts this information at our news page with all the details so stay tuned. Some take longer than others so please be patient. For those who currently have our new Blue 2018 package, or Startup package will get many of these channels added for free with your subscription. If you have our now discontinued old legacy Lifeline basic package, you will need to upgrade to Blue 2018 to receive the new channels. So upgrade today and don’t miss out. For upgrade questions please call our customer service department at 509-486-4137.

In closing I want to say thank you to all who support Rainier Satellite, we do it all just for you. I would also like to invite all those folk that have been following our progress for a while to get on board. Don’t be left in the dark anymore with the continued scrambling of channels happening. It’s a win win situation getting Rainier now as all new customers get our new advanced D986D receiver capable of many satellite delivered upgrades that will keep it working well into the future. Get $500 off the MSRP only from Rainier. And remember Rainer offers 0% interest rate financing for 6 months when you check out using PayPal Credit.

Have a great day all, and remember “Rainier Satellite, Were the Future of C Band Television”.

Best Regards,
Robert Scharmann.
President Rainier Satellite LLC.

Rainier Has Gone Viral with More Programming!

Rainier Satellite is pleased to announce we have acquired the contract rights and will be launching the Gone Viral TV Networks in February.

In 2011, Gone Viral TV launched the first network of four 24/7 linear HD channels. They package the most popular Internet videos from around the world to be easily enjoyed on your television screens. Network programming consists of back-to-back, made-for-web, short-form videos of varying genres, all in HD and commercial-free. Gone Viral TV offers 4 different channels available in Ultimate HD only from Rainier.

Gone Viral was FTA to backyard dish owners for a while but encrypted recently with Cisco’s PowerVu on the 101 west satellite as more cable companies picked them up. Rainier saw this as an opportunity to bring them back for the backyard dish viewer utilizing the D9865’s PowerVu decoder in our receiver. Well we got the contract and they’re Back! These channels will be launching February 1st in our Basic Blue 2018 plus pack and New HD Startup Package.

Rainier Satellite Continues to Deliver more and more content for C band TVRO big dish owners in 2018.

2013 – 2018 Rainier Continues to grow and gets Better and Better!

Rainier Satellite’s humble beginning began in 2013 with a big idea, to bring non compressed HDTV to the consumer. Today it’s a reality.

A overview from history: In 2013 and 2014 Rainier put in countless hours of R&D testing equipment and signals that could be used for this concept and got some of the best out there. There were ups and downs during this period but through determination, patience and perseverance Rainier overcame these rough start up times.

When we felt our products were ready for the public  unlike others companies do, Rainier Satellite LLC opened is doors to the public on May 15th 2015 with the sales of the well tested bug free D9865H receiver and a small programming package. Many naysayers back then thought we would never go anywhere, but we’ve proved them wrong again and again with continued success. At start up the Lifeline Basic package launched our Full Arc subscription service with 3 channels, NFL Network, Mav TV and Z Living all in Pure HD. To this day we appreciate the way these networks worked with us during the R&D phase and allowed us access to their signals to make Rainier’s idea’s reality.

Rainier slow but surely continued to grow in the second half of 2015 and 2016 with the additional release of more high quality products including our U.S. made 9 foot dish, the AP-600 dish mover and more and more Cable TV content such as Bloomberg, Newsmax., The Blaze and Pivot.

After the turbulent year in the satellite industry of 2016 with the demise of the 4DTV H2H service many 4DTV folk were left as orphans not knowing where to turn for TV content. Many migrated to Rainier but not all. Some jumped over to the high priced cable or mini dish systems just to find out it’s not what they thought it would be with the high prices, hidden fees, early termination fees, poor picture quality and outages. Others tried the free TV route after being talked into a low price low quality FTA only gear just to find out about the buggyness of those boxes. They also learned of the unreliability of the here today gone tomorrow signals that many were lied to about by those unscrupulous FTA dealers that use this lie to make sales.

Many that left the nest have now rethought these bad decisions and contacted Rainier Satellite to purchase our equipment and became Rainier Satellite subscribers. Why? Because Rainier Satellite can provide them with what they were accustomed to with the 4DTV, quality equipment and reliable quality Cable TV programming that’s always there.

2017 was a banner year for Rainier. We showed the public C band can have the great channels again. We expanded our channel lineup with big name Cable TV content. Playboy TV, Game Show Network, Ovation TV, WGN and WGN Sports were launched. These are channels that are on just about every cable system in the USA. Also big news in 2017 was the release of the New Cisco / Rainier D9865D satellite delivered firmware expandable HD satellite receiver at $500.00 off MSRP.

What does 2018 have in store? More great channels! In the first quarter of 2018 Rainier will continue launching more content with the rollout of a big name Eastern Sports network in Ultimate HD that has been gone for more than 17 years from c band satellite. Many have asked us about this network, and through hard work at Rainier now it is becoming a reality as launch draws near.

But that’s not all. Additional Superstation’s and Diginet’s will be joining the Rainier family in 2018, and not to be forgotten more big name Cable TV networks will continue to get on board in 2018.

If you’re not on board with Rainier yet, it’s about time you get on board. Don’t be left out of all the excitement and content offerings Rainer has today and will continue to bring to your backyard dish. Only Rainer can provide these for you on C band.

Were the Future of C band Satellite TV.

Diginets to begin Encrypting in 2018

Beginning in 2018 many of the Diginet networks will begin scrambling of their signals. The expansion to cable of many of these networks is the reason for this. Unfortunately these make up many of the channels that low cost FTA only receivers rely on for content. Rainier has learned of this and wish to continue to provide many for our subscribers, We’re in the process of getting carriage agreements with these networks. They will be added to our growing channel package lineups as acquired. What this means in short to the FTA community is once they encrypt Rainier will be able to continue providing them to our subscribers using our D9865 receivers with its multiple decryption options. Although if your receiving them with a FTA only receiver they no longer will be available. The first offerings will be added to our new Basic Blue pack lineup soon.

If you looking at getting a new receiver this is more the reason to look at Rainier’s. Our NEW D9865D receiver will be receiving these signals and more well into the future. Your current or future low cost FTA receiver will not be able to do this.

Also in the News… Rainier is getting ready to announce our agreement and launch with a major sports network that has been gone from C band for 17 years. Many subscribed to this network in the past through Satellite Sports Networks. Rainier is pleased about this new relationship as we continue to grow. more information coming soon…

Time to Get on Board with Rainier. Were The Future of C Band Satellite TV.

WGN and WGN Sports now part of our NEW HD Basic Blue Pack.
